It is an image processing and analysis solution designed for visual inspection, defect detection, analog and digital gauge reading, barcode recognition, and more—addressing a wide range of use cases in manufacturing automation, logistics, and warehouse operations. Vision Edition enables the development of more flexible and simplified systems by enhancing image processing performance, significantly expanding the range of compatible cameras—including network cameras—and strengthening integration with various external devices and software.

2. Workplace AI DSBox – Comprehensive AI-Powered Video Analytics Solution

DSBox is a compact yet powerful Edge AI device that integrates seamlessly with existing surveillance systems and IoT equipment. With its open, flexible, and future-ready platform, DSBox provides a unified management interface that delivers real-time data, alerts, and intuitive reports.

Equipped with advanced AI technology, DSBox simultaneously performs a wide range of in-depth video analytics: object counting and classification; behavior, gender, and age analysis; intrusion detection; smoke, fire, and obstruction detection; PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) compliance monitoring; traffic surveillance and license plate recognition (LPR). 3. High-Precision Non-Contact Measurement Device – Canon PD-704

The PD-704 is a high-precision non-contact measurement device designed for use on production lines. Utilizing Canon’s proprietary profile matching system, it enables high-speed measurement of moving objects with acceleration up to 100G and a depth detection range of ±15mm.

In manufacturing environments where materials are shaped through metal molds using press systems, issues such as miscalculations in distance or speed can occur when components like metal coils are transferred via belts within the press equipment. These errors may result in defective parts or damage to the molds during the pressing process.

The newly developed PD-704 employs an LED light source to perform non-contact displacement measurements of targeted objects. It accurately tracks objects in motion, calculating both the distance traveled and movement speed with high precision—even under extreme acceleration conditions.

By ensuring consistent quality and reliable component delivery, the PD-704 contributes to enhanced productivity and higher output across production lines.
