PSENmgate is a compact safety gate system from Pilz that integrates guard locking and control elements. It features illuminated pushbuttons, emergency stop, escape release, and key switches. With a space-saving design (43% smaller than its predecessor), it simplifies installation and wiring, supports series connection, and ensures personnel protection up to PL e, Cat. 4 (EN ISO 13849-1).

Pilz’s Key-in-pocket solution ensures that machinery cannot restart while personnel are still within hazardous zones, such as robot cells. Unlike traditional lockout-tagout (LOTO) systems, this modern safeguarding method uses RFID keys and individual access permissions, securely managed via a safe list in Pilz controllers.
